Week 18 - Miracles and Trials

Hey Everyone!

Well I don't know where to begin with this week! I guess the beginning
would be a good place to start. I hope you all have had an awesome
week and that you are trying to improve! I know I am trying my hardest
to be the best I can be! Now to my week.

For Pday we went fishing! It was a blast! I'm pretty sure I sent
pictures last week. The rest of the week was pretty good also. There
were some moments where it was hard, but that's okay because sometimes
that happens.

We did a lot of finding this week! Knocking on doors a lot or
tracting. We found a few promising people and we are meeting with them
again this week, so next week I'll let you know how it goes. My
highlights are the baptism that we have this Friday! We finished the
lessons with Matt yesterday and his baptism is this Friday! It is just
so great and I am so happy for him! Another highlight was when we went
tracting and we saw a few people and we talked to a few people and
they were so sweet. It was so hot and nobody wanted us to come back,
but they were nice about it. Well we saw this guy walking his dog and
we stopped him and got to talkin. We introduced ourselves and he
introduced himself as Mickey Mouse. It's kind of funny because his
name is Michael and then his last name is similar to mouse. He seems
so promising! Well we got talkin and he has been studying some other
religions and he has never heard of the Book of Mormon! He knows about
our church just he's never heard of the Book of Mormon. So we were
like do you want one and he's like yeah, but I have no money (broke my
heart). We said well it's free! He was so excited, it was so awesome!
Then he wanted us to come back and meet his wife and talk to him more!
It was so great!

I love this Gospel and how it has blessed my life! I am so grateful
for the knowledge that I have. Especially the Plan of Salvation. I
know that I can be with my family for all eternity. They mean so much
to me and I'm happy that I have been raised in such a happy, family
oriented, Christ centered church! I know this is the true church. I
feel it every time I talk about it, every time I tell someone about
it. It has the fullness of the Gospel. It has blessed my life and my
family's lives. I know it'll bless everyone's life if they let it. I
know our Heavenly Father and Savior love us so much! It is an amazing
thing to know. When we are feeling all alone or sad, we always have
Them to talk to. They are only a kneel away. I know that our Heavenly
Father answers are prayers and always wants to hear from us! I love
Him and my Heavenly Brother! I love this church and the things that
I've learned through it! Always remember that the church is true, the
book is blue, and I love you!

I hope all of you have just an amazing week and a fantabulous day! I
love you and I'll text to you guys again next week! Keep smiling and
remember who you are and what you stand for! 😊💜

Love,

Week 17 - Walking, Driving, Walking..... More Walking

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all are having a great day! Happy belated Father's Day for
those of you who are fathers! I am so grateful for my Papa! I don't
know where I'd be without him! I am also very grateful for the men in
my life who are also great! I am really grateful for my Heavenly
Father and for all that I have been given because of Him!

Well this week has been full of finding new people! I had exchanges
and I went to Clinton. We found four new investigators and it was
pretty great! Then the next day I was back in my area and we did some
more tracting and we got nothin! That's okay though! We even got
turned down by two little girls. We were like "Hey do you girls want a
picture of Jesus!?" They said "No we're good, you can give them to the
people!" Well.... I don't know what to say to that! It made us laugh!
It has been a great, but very long week!

Pday we went hiking all day and it was 107 degree weather and we were
just dead and I found out just how out of shape I was! 😂😜 Then we've
been walking all week and trying to find people in who knows how hot
it was! Let's just say my tan line is looking nice! 😂😜

Some cool things happened this week! Wendy our investigator took her
name off of her church of 48 years, so she can be baptized! It was
pretty awesome! Talk about wanting to follow Christ! Also, Matt has
planned out his baptism! He is so excited to get baptized! I just love
it! Nothing else too exciting happened this week!

I love this church so much and all the blessings that comes with it! I
know that if you strive to follow Christ and live the way you should
that you will find true happiness! I am so happy for the chance that I
have to be on a mission and to be able to see people grow and come
closer to Christ! I am so grateful for my Savior! I know I can do
nothing without Him! Ether 12:27 and Philippians 4:13 these are two of
my favorite scriptures! It's all about Christ strengthening us. I am
grateful for trials because they help me to realize my Savior and
those who love me and help me to grow and become more like my Savior!

I love you all so very much and I hope you have an awesome week!
Remember that the church is true, the book is blue, and I love you!
😊💜

Week 16 - Hola Como Esta?

Howdy Family and Friends!

Well this week has been pretty great! This email is going to be short
because I'm running low on time! It has been a busy day! Sorry!

The highlights for the week were Matt and Wendy! I talked about Matt
in my last email. He is still getting baptized just on a different
date due to a temple trip for our ward. He's getting baptized July 1st
now, which is awesome! Wendy is our new investigator! She is also just
as great! We had our second lesson with her and she was like can I
just get baptized tomorrow!? Our minds were blown! It was so awesome!
She's getting baptized. July 2nd! I am so excited for both of them to
come closer to our Savior!

That''s about it for this week! We are doing a lot of finding and
expanding our teaching pool! It should be fun! I love you all and
thank you for your great examples to me! I love my Heavenly Father and
Savior! Thank you for all the sacrifices that have been made for me to
be able to serve Them!! I love it here and there is no place else I'd
rather be! I love you all and have an awesome week!

Week 15 - Week full of Greatness!😊

Holla Everyone! 😊
Hu Tune Prem Karoo Choo (I love you in Gukarti) (We're friends with an Indian!)
This week has been a pretty great one! I hope all of yours' have been
great! Sorry my email is a little late, I was at the zoo! More on that
later though! Lots of things have happened this week! This week was
also transfers! Luckily I am staying here in the great area of
Chilhowee with Sister Wright! I'm so happy!! I absolutely love it
here!!!! 😊💜

Last Pday we went bowling! It was so much fun and I kicked everyone's
butts! What's better though, is I kicked their butts in a skirt! Not
to brag or anything, but I'm pretty good at bowling! 😜😂 For Pday
today we went to the zoo to celebrate one of the Sister's birthdays! I
took a selfie with every animal we saw! It was pretty great and I'm
sure everyone thinks I'm crazy!

Great things have happened this week! We went on exchanges this week
and I found a potential investigator! I'm so excited to teach her! We
also got a baptismal date yesterday! Our investigator Matt, he's what
we refer to as a dry Mormon! We had our first lesson yesterday and he
said that this church just makes him feel so good and at peace! He's
getting baptized on June 25th! My first official baptism!!! I'm so
excited!!! 😊
There has also been a big change in the mission! President Griffin got
permission from the First Presidency on Saturday to extend our
mission! Our mission now has a part of the Nashville mission! Our
mission is now the biggest mission geographically in the U.S. How
crazy is that! 😊

That's pretty much all that has happened this week! Great memories
have been made and the Spirit this week has just been amazing! I love
it here so very much! I know this church is true! Without a doubt! It
blesses lives and if you let it, it will bless yours! I love my Savior
and my Father in Heaven! I have been given more blessings than I
probably deserve! I know it, I live it, I love it! The church is true,
the book is blue, and I love you! I hope you all have a great week! 😊

Also, shout out to my wonderful, amazing, beautiful human of a mom!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are the absolute best! Couldn't have asked for a
